But seriously now, I ordered the zebra stripe decal from my dealer when I placed the deposit on the car (twas a showroom model), but whether I will ever get it from them remains to be seen. I paid £100 for the decal *and* fitting (a mistake on their part, I know) and it wasn't fitted when I picked the car up on Friday.. surprise, surprise . They pointed out to me that the sales girl had made a mistake and that £100 for just for the decal and offered me my £100 back. Of course I refused the refund and am waiting to hear back.. should've been today.

If, a big *if*, I get the fitting for free, then I'll stick with the zebra roof. Alternatively, I might have a crack at fitting a chequered roof decal myself, as I think I might actually prefer the chequers after seeing some fabby pics on the web. I might even go with something completely different yet. I love the flower boot and bonnet graphics on cooperflags site, and think they'd look wicked in silver/white/black.

Hmmm... I wish I wasn't so indecisive!

Actually I made one of the best investments ever last week. Knowing my mini was soon to arrive I bought a red blanket/throw to put on the back seats. And *Wow*.. it's not a blanket at all.. it's a children's entertainment centre -

Re Coopers.. My own dealings with them so far have been with Sales rather than Servicing, so I'm not really in a position to comment on that.. just yet, although I've not heard good things about them, nor have my experiences with Sales been that impressive. Might be worth making the trip to William Jacks of Cobham or Vines of Guildford judging by others' comments made on this forum!

Cheers ruthie! I'm due to get my roof chequered on Wednesday.. Can't wait! Also would like to get my wing mirror caps sprayed white. Waiting for a quote, and will get them done if I can afford to do so! It's a great little car. It's almost run in now.. I'm at 1,100 and hope to stick a few more miles on this weekend in time for next week's Derby run.

Hehe.. I never realised I could impersonate Regan from The Exorcist so well until I uttered those all important words to my darling children.. "Get your feet off my seat!" Actually they've been very good and enjoy our trips out in the MINI too. Hope it lasts..
