Offline | Well, I am here to tell you that it IS possible... Took delivery of my CVT Cooper yesterday and although its effectively a three-seater, I _DO_ fit into the vehicle and am enjoying the ride and features... I will try to include some pics to this forum (or build a mini homepage) later today... Offline | If you mean the cold weather package, I simple made it part of my order through Mini of Peabody. The only thing in the original order which did not make it through (kept being removed from the auto-configuration due to something else) was the GPS Nav system.... I am still deciding if I will participate in the Mt Washington drive, but generally can be found on 128N from Rt 2 daily around 8am... -- Ian Cooper S Conv, br green exterior; cordoba interior; packages 1, 2, 3, 4, SatNav, iPod adapter, 65,000 foot headroom mod. |

Offline | No, I meant the heated windshield that I thought was only available outside of USA (we have defoggers instead). In your MINI profile you said YES to heated windshield. I was just wondering how you got one in the US. On the Canadian MINI site it's described: "Do not attempt to go through a Canadian winter without the Electric Front Window Defroster. Using ultra-thin, virtually undetectable heating element wires, they conveniently defrost and defog your windshield." |

Offline | Re: 7' 25 stone in a Mini Good to hear there is another BIG guy out there driving a MINI. I'm about 135kg and 5'11" and my MINI is a treat. Obvioulsy I'd rather be in the lower side of 100kg but hey I'm working on that, albeit slowly. But at least my Cooper S goes fast, it might go faster though once I drop about 30kg. Stuff Jared and his Subway diet, I'm on the MINI increased performance diet in 6 months I'll pick up 0.3 of a second, what an incentive.Or I could just go out and buy the Hartge or S Works kits. I don't think my Doctor or my accountant would be happy with that one though.Cheers Ian Jason ![]() 02 MCS gone after 2 years of fun and new friends, and 10 visits to the service dept at Brisbane BMW. You don't know the meaning of practical until you've owned a Camry! (seriously it's not a bad car though ) |

Offline | UNDECIDED!! I'm aghast at the thought.Ian, not being too much of a voyeur but I'd love to see those pics of 7' and 25 stone in a MINI. Frequent comment I get from passengers is "this isn't so mini is it?" Missing my buddies Dan and Ed but glad I have two angel buddies , And on a quest to Right Secco's Wrongs |

Offline | I'll be uploading the pics probably Sunday; its been rain since I picked it up on Tuesday -- though I am pleased to announce the auto-sensing wipers work as advertised... I've had so many people at work simply wanting to be there when I got into or out of the vehicle... The remark generally though was I got out of the vehicle "so easily." However, I've found that its very easy for me to snag the cuff of my pants on the seat height control knob as I swing my right leg out... The Peabody dealership all had remarks about my interior as well... I chose the tartan red with black anthracite and the contrast is good... I was worried a bit about also having the burgandy red/white exterior, but the interior/exterior colors blend quite well... Offline | *lol* Well, it IS a three seater effectively when I drive; the front seat is slightly reclined and almost all the way back against the rear seat... I actually bring the seat forward a bit for best comfort and driving position... I am very pleased with the comfort given my height/size....
