| RedUn's Manicurist ;-þ | Trip we just took to North Carolina from Northern Virginia, about 600 miles away. We went to a US National MINI event to drive the Tail Of The Dragon at Deals Gap, NC. 11 miles with 318 curves.<---nothing like it, nothing so far! MMIller did the driving on the dragon, I was a bit shy about it, didn't want to hold up faster drivers behind us. There were other car clubs, such as Porsches and other oldies, mostly bikers... What a site to behold to see so many MINIs converge on a biker area. We plan to make this an annual event! (thanks to JTucker who put the event together)Plenty of photos up in the meetings area, should be videos soon, several MINIers had their cameras mounted in their cars. ![]() ![]() |

Offline | Drive back from the dealership in Salt Lake City/Murray to my home in Cave Creek, Arizona. Drove through Zion National Park, Grand Canyon National Park and Sedona. Great way to put the first 1000 miles on a Mini. Worst moment was 2 hours after picking the car up when we were hit by a hail storm out in the open on the highway! I cried but fortunately there was no damage done! The hail was slushy. |

Offline | Totally agree... ![]() It's just a real shame that Nurburgring GMBH have stopped video footage around the 'tourist' route, or I would have offered that for the download area! |

Offline | For me it has got to be the Heartbeat Run back in March 75+ MINI's started the run over the North Yorkshire Moors starting at Thirsk and travelling 120 miles (over some of the best roads that I have ever driven on) to Scarborough. And then driving up and down the sea front to the astonished looks of 100's of locals and day trippers. ![]() |

Offline | I've had quite a few all of which are featured on www.newminiscotland.co.uk but the one which was the most interesting was a trip along the north coast of Scotland via Durness and Bettyhill last summer. Noone had seen a MINI up there so we got loads of attention whenever we stopped. McMINI Adventuring across Scotland |
