Offline | My Cooper is coming to live with me in Carrick on the 1st of March. I went to The Country Garage and so far I have been treated much better than than I was when I went to Bavarian. The salesman (who shall remain nameless!)was pushy and it got to the point where I felt harassed. On another note have any NI owners noticed steering pull or do you reckon its just the car following the road camber. A car like the Cooper with a quick rack and stiff suspension bushes is always going to be more sensitive than a squishy barge. That's why they are fun to drive! ![]() |

Offline | Happy days that will make 2 respectable cars in Carrickfergus if you use the Carrick to Belfast road in the mornings we can give the bored drivers something decent to look at when they are stuck in the daily traffic jam.I was going to use the country garage but thought bavarian would be handier for servicing or if i have to hastle them! Offline | I'm originally from Ballymena- so I can cut it with the country lingo! My fist choice was an Alfa 147- but I got an insurance quote which gave me palpitations! I'm still loyal to Italian rust buckets, but for everyday cost effective fun the Mini will be hard to beat- hopefully! |

Offline | Italian job? Lingotto works and all that? That has always been a stressful film for me -Mini Coopers and Alfa Giulias. Two of your most favourite cars should not be up against one another ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | new sales staff Called into Bavarians today (see post on 'ultimate option'). Had a long chat with Sydney (decent bloke). It seems the 'pushy' salesman has gone. They have taken on 2 new lads from Savilles and are very pleased with them. Bavarians won't be at the motor show (i was in to try and blag tickets!!) Hang on a minute lads, i ve got a great idea. - Michael Caine |

Offline | bout ye Belfast Coop, now i have taken delivery of the cooper from bavarian i must say they are a slick operation, my fiancee was with me when i was signing my life away, while Sydney disappeared and came back with a bunch of flowers for her (nice touch) and also told me he took the car for a run to do a final check and fill her up with petrol. the cooper is perfect except for the usual left thing, i could live with it but intend letting bavarian know and see what they say, hopefully a more realistic answer than some of the crap i have read on this website! ps did you get the BM butt massager? | MINI2 Regular | alternative butt massager I'm thinking of paying a very very small type person to live under my seat and gently push the underside of the cushion while i am driving along. I think it would cost less than the BMW version. Might try a small ad in the bele tele. Hang on a minute lads, i ve got a great idea. - Michael Caine |
