Re: Re: new sales staff

Would that be Savilles Vauxhall

yes

Just wondering because I work for an Insurance company & they are one of our garages we use for doing crash repairs

Ah, ha. I hope you realise my massive payments to your industry for my Cooper and Yamaha 600 are part financing your MINI!

Its a small world aint it

No, as i keep pointing out to people, it's actually bl**dy big.

Nice to see a 'foreigner' keeping an eye on the threads relating to the 'colonies'.

Fair enuf. I must admit, as a public servant, your taxes are helping to pay for my Cooper. They say money makes the wheels go round.

Tim, the last two weeks has seen an explosion of minis over here. I think maybe a lot of people waited for the new year to have a 2002 registered car. They have lost some of their exclusivity, but it is nice to see others around.

since picking my Cooper up last week i have spotted another 5 MINIs in and around Belfast which I haven't seen before. I was in London for a week over the new year and only spotted 2, one of them being in a car showroom!

Ah driving fast on the Motorway into Dublin ........

This thread reminds me of when I used to run the Mitsubishi FTO club and we went on a tour of southern Ireland. Coming back from Cork to Dublin we found the only decent length of Motorway and were doing around 130 side by side at one point - it was deserted !!

Memories !! - Anyone fancy a trip to Ireland ??

I know its been near 6 months since anyone posted on this thread, but just ordered a Cooper from Bavarian (nice food) Garages.
Yer man Paul Gray is a decent enough guy, although I was able to baffle him with some of the stuff I have picked up from this site.

P.S. Another North Down one I'm afraid.

P.P.S Any thought on the trip computer, I've ordered one?

My family are going down to see Paul today to order my mum a silver Mini ONE. A 2 - mini family, tho i don't live with them so they will rarely be in the drive together. Still, happy days!!

Alarms for Belfast

Does anyone reckon an alarm is a worthwhile addition to my spec (still to be finalised) ... at two hundred quid, the saving on my insurance could pay for it quickly enough.

Any thoughts?

I was talking to Paul Gray too about ordering my one - haven't ordered it yet though, but plan to do before the end of July!

I'm trying to get some freebies off him, hes doing his best

He also tried really hard to get me a good trade-in on my car but no joy - seems like a sound enough bloke!

I tried to get something out of him ... no joy though !?!

He said he'd chuck in a model mini or something ... I'd settle for a Williams F1 Ski-Jacket.

I think an alarm is always a good idea, especially if you get an insurance discount.

And the flashing light on the end of the stalk looks cool !
