I may need professional help...

It is a beautiful day in Seattle today. Yesterday was nice, only rained for a little while, so the tree pollen gathered on the beads of water leaving yellow spots all over the bonnet. I go to work a 7am, so there I was, washing my car in the morning sunshine at 6:30am. Did a fast job but got all the bits, down to drying the white wheels. I mean washing you MINI all the time is one thing, but sacrificing MORNING sleep, you know those precious moments before you HAVE to get up is another. Do I need counseling???

Last summer we had the dryest summer in 100 some odd years. I can only use water outside two days a week this year and we are encouraged to wash our cars as little as possible as we want to keep our water in our resevoirs. It's a noble sacrifice, having a MINI that's dirty most of the time to conserve water. Don't suppose you could send some of that famous Seattle rain to Colorado?

IBminiG, your signature about things in rear view mirrors reminded me of this, sent to me just before the gulf war started.. enjoy

NOOOOOO, I just washed it!!!!

Just wondering if that was from the origional Gulf War, or Gulf "W" War, or is that Gulf War Jr. ???

The sig came from my drive home from the dealer after delivery, I thought the speedo was wrong, but then I looked around and all the cars next to me were gone...

Ya that seems pretty crazy alright!

You might want to start counselling.

For those other people out there in the States not near a hose (me!) or looking at water conservation measures, you might want to check out Protectall's Quick and Easy Wash. It's marketed to clean RV's, but it works GREAT on cars, too! I know a few professional mobile detailers use it when they're not sure about the water supply situation where they're at. Just an ounce per gallon of water, no rinsing and voila! Clean car! Also great in the winter as well

The company's website is: http://www.protectall.com/qelg.htm

No, I'm not affiliated with the company.. I'm extremely picky about how my car looks (ahem.. yes, anal) and thought I'd share.

that's normal. just keep doing what the voices tell you. and remember. other people are jealous because the voices only talk to you.

yes, THEY are out to get you.

Just wanted to clarify what a beautiful day in Seattle meant. It rained @ 4:00 pm , So I almost went 10 whole hours with a clean car. I have lived here all my life, and even I got fooled by a "sucker hole" (hole in the clouds that fools you into thinking its a sunny day...sucker)
