i put the order in on my MCS yesterday. it's not coming 'til august! how do i pass the time until then? any suggestions?

I took a job travelling the United States for the months between order and delivery. Killed a lot of time and kept my trade in from racking up milage. Of course, that might not be for everyone.

But Tom Petty did have it right...The waiting IS the hardest part.

i'll be travelling for six weeks, but rest assured, even then i'll be dreaming of my car!

(the car will need a name for sure.)

Hey, at least you only need to wait for 3 months, it's not bad at all!!!

Just start shop for your car, I mean accessory for your new baby. It should help a little

Well I guess I got lucky. I talked to a dealer on a thursday, he had an S with everything I had to have on it. I picked it up the next day after riding a Greyhound 10.5 hours to the dealership. I had trouble waiting just that long....

You can search out some good roads to motor on
Figure out which accessories you plan to add
Learn from comments made by others on this site (what features are worth the money, what causes problems etc.)

I ordered my car 2 months ago and now it's finally here (picked it up yesterday) The time does pass, I promise!

Look at every single picture of a MINI that you can find on MINI2 that is even CLOSE to your ordered spec, just to be sure you like it....
