Yesterday while filling my MCS at a gas station, I was informed by another customer that my car looked "bling bling" with the 17 inch wheels and chrome door handles, chrome fuel cap+misc chrome trim. has anyone else been told this?

BTW, I just smiled and nodded, and tried to remember what exactly bling bling means.

its a photoshop, been around for ages, u can tell by the white line of the parking space (doesnt line up)

if the bling bling thing wasnt there you could see it better but u can just about make out the end of the white line after the wheel...

44inch apparently, well according to the little caption. Anyone seen the R Kelly video for Ignition with the stretch jeeps? now thats Bling Bling. Or the video for 50 Cent's ****sta video? he has 2 black H2 hummers in that with presidential style flags on the bonnet, thats wicked.

I can't say that I'm up to date on technical jargon, but isn't it now just "bling"?

Nonetheless, one man's ceiling is another man's floor. Or, put another way, these are nabob rims. Wretched excess.

There is actually a magazine on the newstands called "Dub" which is hugely amusing to look through.

When I first saw it I thought it was a special satire photoshopped issue on vehicles such as the black Ford SUV pictured earlier in this thread. But, no.... it's a real magazine featuring all kinds of "bling bling" vehicles with huge, oversized comical shiny wheels and rubber band tires. It's promoted as a 'lifestyle' magazine.

It's probably worth buying an issue just to keep to show your grandchildren how strange life in 2003 was.
