Have ordered my 1st New Mini which I'm due to collect in September. Car I have just now has a rubber Boot Tray in it which is excellent. (Avoids the carpet in the boot getting damaged).
As I look through the accessories price list, a Mini Boot Tray is priced somewhere in the region of £125 and a Boot Mat is only about £25.
Whats the difference between a Tray and a Mat? Recommendations?
The boot tray is a shallow box, the shape of the boot. It will protect the boot if you carry anything that could leak.
It also very useful if you carry anything that rolls around that could damage the boot sides or carpet. Well worth the money if you need it.
The boot mats come in various forms. Carpet, non-slip, all are fitted to the shape of the boot. The luggage net is very useful for stopping objects moving around in the boot.
