Offline | Picking up a new car is supposed to be a happy time but mine was nothing but stressful! I had already gone through an 8 week wait for my mini cooper and i thought this was bad enough but there was worse to come. I was told that i could pick my car up on bank holiday monday at 11am. At 11:15 i recieve a call saying you do realise that we had arranged to pick the car up at 11am. I said yes im on my way.I arrive at the dealer to be told that the car had not been valeted and was still in its delivery wax. They said can you come back at 6pm. So i go back at 6pm to be told again that the car had not been touched. They got someone to rush clean it in 45mins so i could take delivery. I wasnt happy at all. They also gave me a second hand key ring as the parts department was closed and off i went home. I thought this was bad enough yet when i drive the vehicle home there was a banging from the rear of the vehicle and a buzzing from the passanger door. I couldnt believe this surely this should of been picked up at its P.D.I? I also find to my horror that there is a scratch on the roof from the rush clean. The dealer have decided to give me a full valet sort the rattles out and give me a free speaker upgrade for the inconvience. The car also has very patchy silver paint that im not happy with but BMW say there is nothing wrong with it!! Ha we will see!!! |

Offline | Pretty unbelievable that they would pester you and the not have your car ready. I think you should name and shame the dealer. I'm pretty gutted as I have just been told that my car won't be ready for another week because I asked them to add on a spoiler and the full chrome pack to my order, about two weeks after it was placed (well before the build date). I don't see how this quite works, however it does nicely take my delivery date into a point where I am away for 4 weeks, so will have to resort to my classic cooper for the motorway miles - not its favourite past-time. |

Offline | I will admit that our Mini had rattles and buzzes when we picked it up. I took it back the next day to find insulation tape wrapped on all the catches ??!??. The buzz was fixed later the next week. The dealer has been quite good so far. I work for a company that makes parts for the motor industry, and we get hammered all the time for 0 rejects so I am more than happy to give other people pain. I am also of the view that the more people take their cars back to the dealers, the faster these issues will be addressed. If you are not happy then speak strongly to your dealer, and do not except No for an answer. |

Offline | No, it's not very good, especially when you've paid a great deal of hard-earned cash for what you expect to be a quality product. I would have gone back and given them hell!. I'm collecting my MCS on Friday (hopefully) and I expect it to be perfect in every way. If it's not I'm going to be having serious words with the dealer. Squidly |

Offline | Sorry but i think that is really bad. If i told a customer to come back in the evening for collection of the car after not meeting their expectations I would MAKE SURE it was ready. Especially when you consider that they dont earn their commision if they get bad feedback. It is good that they have recognised their faults and the sound upgrade is a nice softener to the blow. However, its clear this standard is unacceptable. |

Offline | all the work has now been completed today at the dealer and i must say how impressed i was by there service. They have cured both rattles given me a new keyring fitted the speaker upgrade kit which i must say is super and well worth having and they also gave the vehicle a proper full valet! |
