Talking Slight Change to my order

After alot I thinking I decided to upgrade the wheels on the cooper that I ordered. My orginal order was

indi/blue white roof mirrors
Chilli package
6 disc changer
TlC

I seen so many mini's since ordering mine and i just need to upgrade to those 17's lol so my new cooper is...

indi/blue white roof mirrors
Chilli package
6 disc changer
17" mutli spoke wheels
TlC

I been told already it will be built the last week in June and that changing the wheels shouldn't affect it so not long left now. The wait is KILLING ME!!!!

Sounds good! Have you thought about air con or the sunroof? Apparently the car could be harder to sell on without them.

From my experience the car can get quite stuffy inside. On the few hot days we've had since my car arrived, my sunroof's been a godsend.

Be careful with that wheel/suspension selection...

I would think that seeing as though he has the chilli pack he will opt for the SS+ (cooper s) free upgrade. Thus giving him the same setup and thus handling etc etc as the S

...Yes, but not the weight. I'd say that you must get a test drive with the exact wheel, tyre and suspension setup that you're going to order. I did and haven't regretted it for one minute, especially after driving a Cooper with SS and 17" with runflats.

Oh yeah - you want air con IMHO.

yea thought about the sunroof and air con. I think air con is a luxury you dont really need in england and I hadn't choose a sun roof as I think they look really bad with a white roof. Hesh why I hadn't got one. About the SS+ (cooper s) free upgrade I was never told about it when I ordered the car?? Should I have been???

I would make sure with your dealer as to the suspension you're getting. I have the SS+ with 16" runflats which, though harsh, feels ideal for me. From what I've heard, the SS+ 17" combo is a tad too much.

All the best.

Bonjour
I used to have a clio down 70mm on 16's I dont think anything can compare to how hard the ride on that was. I will however double check tommorrow about the suspension

The SS+ doesn't lower the car any further, it just stiffens the springs as far as I know.

All the best.

I was just was just saying that I couldn't see the ride being anymore harsh then in my old car. I quite like a stiffer ride I feel a bit safer lol. But thanks for letting me know I will confirm it tomorrow.
