Angry leaking windscreen

HI all,

Went to my local dealer in tring the other day to replace the valve caps on my wheels(3rd set) which happened to be while it was raining, consequently reversed my car and a long stream of water shot out from behind the rear view mirror and onto the dash, it kept doing it every time i braked, about 2 miles to the dealer. They look ed at it and booked it in staright away, saying some minis have had sealing problems around the window. I thought this a bit odd as it is a 2002 '51 and has never had these problems before. it goes in next wednesday so i shall kepp the info updated

My Feb'02 build had the same problem, however as my windscreen was replaced (due to cracking) I put it down to not being sealed properly. It only did it a couple of times in really hard rain, and seemed to cure itself? Now it's fine.

SIMIN,

What valve caps do you mean? Dust caps? I've had 3 sets nicked and have now resorted to using black plastic ones.
Okay, there's not much diffrence but the metal ones are nicer.
