Yes its true! the mini has landed!

Picked it up from north oxford garage, long hanborough at 4:00 and its perfect. All the spec is correct, the interior in the red looks great and im well chuffed!

Also, i would definitely recommend North Oxford to people. They were very thorough with the hand over and went through everything in real detail.

Will be posting pictures v soon when the weather improves!

Just got back from going out with some mates and its handling is superb - i had no idea it would be such a hoot to drive! ok, i knew it was fun but simply not THIS good! Also, it has plenty of punch, even with 90hp.

The car inspires confidence no matter what the road conditions are - such a difference when compared to the fiesta ive been using while waiting.

Also, the WAVE radio aint that bad for a standard system at low volumes so in no major rush to change it.

It depends on your definition of low volume there Dom!

I have had a bit more time behind the wheel today and the radio isnt great for some types of music they play. It does the job though. Gonna go down to local hi-fi shop to see what they recommend soon.

Did 150 miles last night in it

so in no time it will be 'ready for battle' above 4500rpm!

Gonna be brave and go out in the cul-de-sac and take some pics of the car very shortly. I live in one of those areas where its dead quiet and is complete with the 'curtain twitching' brigade - theres been a lot of activity from them in the last 24 hours!

Hopefully they will be on within a few hours
