Ok I thought it was the rain sensor.. but My wipers dont seem to actually do anything when set to the sensor controlled setting. I was also watching the Mini cd and saw that the rain sensor is actuall up by the rear view mirror. So what the hell is that little blue nipple in the center of my dash???

Sunlight Sensor for the Auto A/C. (its been discussed a bunch, do a search if you're interested) Also MINI has put out a top 10 quirks, and its on there.

stryder is correct. It is the sensor for the automatic aircon.
