Hey,
I just want to see how many other people here on MINI2 don't have any bonnet stripes, or graphics. I don't, but I am thinking of getting the magnetic bonnet stripes.

I don't have a bonnet stripes, but I have KOA (Kampgrounds of America) logos on on both doors and the boot. I put a red line through the C in Cooper and Put a K in front, so now I have a KOOPER ;-)

The only exterior mods to my MC is a shorty antenna and clear (white) side markers.

Like my motorcycles I like them clean :-) However, that's what owning something special is all about, making it your own. Do what makes you happy!!

Mine's clean too. One reason I chose red and white was to follow in the footsteps of the works Coopers of the 60s, and they didn't have stripes. Plus to be honest, while the stripes look good on the original Mini, I don't like them on the new one.

You can go and pay about thirty bucks, for some magnetic bonnent stripes, and they take about 30 secs to put on and a few to take off. If you don't like them that much then you didn't waste too much money, and they are removable. And for someone like max, you take them off for normal driving, and when you go to the track, you can put them on. They have been tested to about 110MPH whithout budging, I think I might have to get them.

Tempting, very tempting. How well do they work if fitted over a clear bra though (which I already have installed)?

Currently road tested at 100 MPH, the stripes remained in place no problem.
