Velvet Cooper Do you like this steering wheel?

I think it looks cool. I have seen one other one, which has three things going fromt the center to the outside, but I didn't really like it.

That steering wheel was a pre-production prototype, you cannot buy it AFAIK.

Yes, that's an early pre-production photo (one of many I was sent a while back) before they'd fully decided on the brand and look of the cars interior.

Some early MINI's have the MINI (in a circle) like that design on their foot pedals.

It looks to cartoon, Super Hero ish. Tacky. It would detract from the rest of the car.

No, can't say as I like it... a bit too much. Maybe it would look ok with just the Cooper S on the black background

Yeah, that really is nasty looking

I much prefer the more subdued final version, with its tasteful MINI logo in the center.

But doesnīt the whole MINI have an anticipation of toon proportions and style? Okay, Iīm also glad that many qualities of the MINI are quite sophisticated and reasonable, but I also think if we didnīt know the MINI we would not mind to find it in a cartoon or a superhero movie. I also believe that the different styles of our cars cover a quite big range of possibilities. Pure silver with black roof and black leather versus electric blue with white wheels, roof and bonnet stripes... The above steering wheel stands out, but I donīt think it runs completely against the MINI spirit.

We have to have little bit of class! If the centre hub of the steering wheel had to change I would prefer just an "S" on a checkerd back ground similar to that of your banner.

LOL! Iīm only looking for a possibility to integrate a picture of my own car into the banner, but the sample with the white background simply fits better.

Do you have the checkered flag roof decal or have you ever considered getting one? For me that would be slightly over the edge, the bonnet stripes are radical enough for me.

Klaus,

I have just ordered a MCS to replace my MC and the only thing that I have done to it is add White wheels and bonnet stripes. No roof decals, that would be to over the top for me. It is okay for other to do it but for me, No. I like thing simple.

I think it might look good if the "S" were the standard "S" From "MINI Cooper S" rather than what it has. Oh well. As-is i dont like it.

Whatever.
