Came home last night to be greeted with the news that the trowell had bounced off the bonnet of the car leaving a dent.
Won't go into how I felt as you will all guess.
What is the best way to get this fixed? The dent is about the size of a thumb print but caught the edge of the trowell so there is a recess as well as a dimple. Polished out the dirt marks last night so it doesn't look quite so bad. Any suggestions?

Hi There,
Just had a very small dent put right on my bonnet but this one was done by the dealer when fitting my bonnet stripes and spot lights !.They told me that on of the rivets was just a bit to long and so left a pimple on the bonnet,so ive had to run around in a 316i,dont let people ******** you into believing that BMW are great they are just ok,the dealer has done a great job though,i know this aint much help to you only thing i can say is take it to the dealer

1. We have several 'paintless dent repair' places out here (phoenix, az, usa) that work miracles with fixing dings and small dents. I'd look for one out where you are. They've fixed a few such mishaps for me.

2. red1: you just had the wrong BMW. As a long time BMW owner, they are that great. Borrow a 330i with the sport package for awhile, and you'll agree. Or the 540i, or if you don't mind the very stiff suspension, the M3. Oh wait, the Mini's suspension is as stiff as the M3... of course you wouldn't mind!!
