BMW! They do ones for inside and outside use.

They are official MINI ones and have a nice mini logo and zip print on them..

the MINI has gone...

Most of the MINI's at the launch events had the cover on. I was told you could buy them for £100. I think its a bit too steep for me personally.

I've got to ask?

What's the difference between the 2? Why's the indoor one more money?

I presume the outdoor one is weather proof, and the indoor one is not.

As for the price differences, probably the cost of materials - in short, I don't know

the MINI has gone...

Boy these threads move down the list quickly these days !!.

Just a little word of caution using car covers outside. When I bought my old MGB GT it used to be covered. And as a result the original paintowrk was practicaly flawless. The only thing that had happened was that on all the edges that had been in contact with the cover, the paintwork had been worn down to the bare metal from the constant rubbing caused by the wind.

No doubt the covers are a lot better these days (this was on a '75 N reg MGB GT bought in '81) but it doesn't matter how soft the inside lining is it will still constantly rub the paintwork on a windy day unless its really REALLY tight.

Anyone else had this experience with covers ?.

And yes i'll ask the usual question. Anyone got or know where I can go to get a picture of the Official MINI cover(s) ?

cheers

(PS. Good one rich )

Basil, I have a photo that I took at the MINI launch here in Melbourne in November of two MINIs under wraps. I'll see if I can get it scanned tomorrow at work and post it here tomorrow night.

Now rich, you would have to admit THEY ARE A TIGHT FIT !!!

I love the way they cover the wing mirrors, but what happened to the aerials?

Hmmm, might have to attach that picture with the "attach file" button eltel, or dump it in your MINI2 gallery and attach it from there. I think you may have done what I have done in the past and linked it to a directory on my hard drive, which of course only works when i'm logged onto my "PCes".

Eltel, or anyone else who has a picture of the MINI car cover.

Please could you post it so I can have a look. My MINI's been residing in a neighbour's garage but is soon to be evicted!

Has anyone experience of the cover?

I'd be grateful for any advice,

Thanks

Mini's have feelings too!
