| Somebody help me! | I think I'm going to be sick. ![]() I guess they are getting paid to advertise on their car. Muprhy's take on Rallyes: Measurements will always be expressed in the least useable units. Velocity, for example, will be expressed in furlongs per fortnight. Offline | I saw an X-Box mini done up in somwhat similar style, being auctioned on E-Bay a while back. Similarly ugly as well. It might be some sort of contest prize, like the X-Box one. It is a shame seeing something like that happen to such a nice car. Wouldn't an old Pinto be a more appropriate car for Windows? Btw MS has a long history of embarasing gaffs in their advertising. They bought the rights to the Rolling Stone's song "Start Me Up" when they introduced W95, of course the song does have the Chorus "You make a grown man cry", which they omitted from the ads. In another one, they had dramatic classical music playing in the background, which turned out to be from some opera and was about the dammed souls suffering in hell. |

Offline | Anyone have more shots of those Red Bull MINIs from different angles? And if so, could someone who's good with Photoshop take some and remove the can? The "chop job" looks well done, and would give a pretty good idea of what a MINI truck may look like...(It would also be great if you could remove the Red Bull crap and just make it either solid IB or PS, preferably IB, since that's the best color ).PigLick |

Offline | Seems the MINI is serving as a rolling bilboard for lots of folks. Last time I was there, my dealer had some MINIs festooned with a garish greenish paint scheme hawking Midori liqueur. I'll spare your eyes. ![]() |

I've got to admit though, that I have yet to see any advertising mini's at all in my area. Guess microsoft and red bull are targeting the european market. | 12th Floor Cube Dweller | I am reminded of a Volvo commercial that featured Jethro Tull's "Thick as a Brick." It was just the music, no words. Left me with the impression that Volvo drivers must be thick as a brick. Visit the Pool Cleaners from Distant Planets Izzy is an '03 MCS, with PP, CWP. It's BRG on BRG. I know, BFD. |

| RedUn's Manicurist ;-þ | How about Nissan using The Who's Baba OReilly? I'm not going to tell anyone about my MINI that I'm going to have all to myself(NO Mr. MINIMiller) until it's a done deal and perfect. So far it's a pipe dream Haven't seen one like it yet. Coolest car w/plates I've seen around here is a little Green Honda Del Sol tooling around: EgsnHam ![]() |

| ITS RAINNIN' SIDEWAYS | i saw the microsoft one a couple of weeks ago & forgot to report it in. It was parked outside our local Comet with a small tent/marquee over the boot. The microsoft salesman had the boot open & a laptop rigged up on the parcel shelf demonstrating Windows XP ![]() |
