Huge new R/C MINI w/ working lights and horn

While out running erands today we stopped by Sam's Club (very dangerous), and my wife spotted a 1/6 scale MINI. It has working lights, the brake lights come on when it slows down and the turn signals blink when it turns, a working horn, there is a button on the remote that sounds the horn on the car, it has three speeds and has a lock feature. Needless to say it came home with us. Sam's had two color choices Chili Red/White or Pure Silver/Black.

Here are the pics:

A shot for scale, that is a compact disc in front of the car, or if you prefer to use animals for scale my cat was kind enough to hang around for the photo.

How much, if you don't mind

Only $65. And that included batteries for the controler and a rechargable battery pack with wall plug. ( oh yeah the white things on the seat belts are latches so you can strap in action figures up to 11 inches high. My wife has already started a quest to find hobbits to ride inside)

I will give a report tomorrow on how well it handles, how long the battery pack lasts ect.. It still has about an hour left to finish charging.

It is made by EZ-TECH who is owned by Scientific Toys LTD. The back of the box is printed in 8 different languages so they must plan on distributing them over a wide range. "The MINI trademarks are used under liscence from BMW AG."

the website adress is [link]www.scientific.com.hk[/link]

That thing is awesome. I'm off to Toys 'r' Us to go see if they've got one down there

Love it!

Have you got any physical numerical size figures?

Looks like fun!

What kind of controller comes with the car? (pistol type with small wheel for steering or the dual stick type)

Thanks.

Cool. I saw one of those as a New Beetle in the supermarket last week and thought it would be cool if there were an MCS version...80% there

You ALMOST got it... u definetly have the idea... the only thing u need to fix in your IMG tag is the extra "[" in the beginning and the "**151-MI" dont know what happened there but its suppose to be a "**151-PIP.JPG" unless u were trying to post a different pic.

http://images.sharperimage.com.edgesuite.net/all/en/images/products/**151-PIP.JPG

Try it again... hit preview reply till it comes out. Good luck
