PDC comming on automatically?

Does anyone know if the PDC coems on automatically when someone gets too close to u in the rear liek at a stop light or something? or like if u are about to cut someone off while changing lanes?

Theres some discussin about the PDCs in the M5 comming on automatically in the rear when u get close to something when you are not engaged in reverse like at a stop light and someone stopping really close to u. Wondering if its the same for the MINI.

I just looked up the same question recently for MiniMan7: the PDC comes on automatically when the car is in reverse. So no, it won't come on if a car pulls up too close at a stoplight because you won't be in reverse.

Looks like you brought the PDC topic over here too. I was wondering about the same thing too. Was hoping that the PDC would activate automatically.

Retrofit what? The M5 PDC system into the MCS? Yeah, right...a better idea would be to get a M5!
