Offline | Minis we saw in Toronto/Vancouver on holiday.... Just thought i would say it was great to see lots of Minis in and around the Toronto and Vancouver areas recently while on holiday. Hi to the Torontos - Indie blue Cooper S in the Dominion shooping store car park on Eglington avenue. Hi to the yellow Cooper with the bonnet stripes and numbers 53 (i think its 53!) on the side, seen on the Gardiner expressway, and Vancouver - the silver cooper in the car park of the Holiday Inn, North Vancouver on 28th May, plus many in and around the local area. and finally the great Mini up to win in the shopping centre behind the Hudson Bay co in Victoria, with the Canadian flag on the roof of a red cooper. Great to see you all, pity we couldnt meet anyone, but the possible SARS problem meant we weren't able to commit. Our hire car was a Mustang Convertable and i have to say if that was available over here....i would be tempted!!!! ![]() Topsy Cooper S Checkmate |

Offline | no doubt For those haven't been to Toronto it is hard to explain. You can be guaranteed to see any high end car within a month of its world wide release. We have seen at least 5 different Z8, every Ferrari, Porche, Bently, Viper, Lotus etc at Avenue Rd and Bloor. (no comments about my selection of vehicles to highlight but you get the idea). When I have travelled elsewhere people say "did you see that?-- answer many times back in Toronto, Canada". I think it is a good sign that Toronto is getting packed with MINI's. Glad to be a part of it. 03' MC chili red, prem package, white stripes, sunroof 1968 Mustang 5spd tremec, nitrous 1995 Grand Marquis LS (all about covering your automotive needs) |
