Does anyone have a pick of a car (preferably silver but not fussed) with projector (lexus) style lamps as on Minispares site???

I am torn as to wether to get them...I kinda like em but I'm worried they will look tacky! Please help.

I also wonder in anyone has a car with a black roof and the high level brake tinted black?...I am thinking of doing sharkgill sides (but I want orange bulbs and crystal clear cover instead of the normal frosted style white lamps)are crystal covers available that would then match my projector style rears and then I want to tint the top high level brake black to match up with the roof...Thoughts and advise please.

Also do the projector lamps have reflectors in or will I have to get a kit and do the reflectors onto the body as with clears to keep it road legal in UK.

Don't do it! Just a personal view but the clear light kit is far nicer (if popular!).

those are terribly ugly, and will definately make your mini look cheap.

I am quite interested in he tinted 3rd brake light though,
can you actually buy them or is it DIY???

I think it would have to be DIY. I have seen loads of US persons talking about tinting the main rear lamps black looking and so I thought if they can do them with tint film then surely its possible to do the high level light?! My car will be silver and black so I have decided on the clear kit not the projectors and then clear side repeaters with shark gills and then I might see if I can get some tint film to do the high level light.

Any tinter people out there know where I can get some film that will darken the lamp in the black roof enough but still be legal?..where and whats its cost?
