My week...

Fell off mountain bike on Sat 14th
X ray said I had a broken collar bone
Fracture clinic on wednesday said "Surgery"
Had lump of metal put in my shoulder thursday pm
Back home, but can't drive for six weeks

oh,and I get married this Friday!

Feeling sorry for myself, and having problems doing everything with just my left hand.

Sorry to moan but im bored

Ouch! That must really suck.

I know what you mean, I ruptured my spleen a week after having my MINI at a football game, not to mention my MINI was in an accident the same day. I was basically hospitalized for 2 weeks, and I didn't see my MINI for about another month after I got out.

Ahhh poor Carl..that really sucks. I know how it feels to have surgery(sucks) and not be able to drive for 6 weeks(sucks more!) so I wish you a speedy recovery and many happy days in your Mini soon!!:-)

A lot of people have said that the reason it happened is that I would try anything to get out of getting married!

The actual reason is that I forgot to adjust the damping on my suspension forks after the previous ride.

Cheers mate, the wedding will be great although no drinking for me because of the pain killers.... oh well

Well, not long to go now, I get married in 15 hours and we have decided to use our MINI as one of the wedding cars.
