Angry mini adventure that got pulled over with blue flashy lights!!!

ooohhh POO!

i just got my very first speeding ticket...and it was all my minis fault...didn't even realise what speed i was doing till the copper in that totally non patronising way let me in to "a wee secret" as to what speed i was really doing. That was only after we played a wee guessing game..."S'ques me sir, do u know what speed u were just doing?" well u do so lets just get on with this!!

oh well i was going too fast and i deserved it but do they have to be so self righteous?

oh and how does 3 point affect ones insurance, should i expect a hike or not? do i have to tell till i renew or have to do it now?

thanks

speedy!!

MY MINI WAS A: 03 Chilli Red White Cooper S

Sorry to hear that
just think if you had an S it may of been 6 points

Yes it does put your insurance up about 50 quid and i think the insurance company knows if you've been done with computers an all

Most Insurance Companies won't give two hoots if you get 3 or 6 points providing you are of a respectable age and profession.

If you're a teenster then you'll likely be crucified, but then that's just plain tough for being young and good looking.

There is just one moon and one golden sun; And a smile mean friendship to ev'ryone; Through the mountains divide, and the oceans are wide; It's a small world after all.

From limited experience 3 points should not affect your insurance premium. However 6 points raises it roughly 10% where I live. It will be different depending on where you live and AGE

North Andy, I can beat that story. Roadworks on ladgate lane, police with moveable camera caught a lad I know 3 times in the same day. The limit was reduced from 40 to 30mph while the work was going on. He wishes he didn't go home for dinner that day He still had to pay up as he broke the law

I had 3 points last year, you need to tell the company at least on renewal, dont think it really matters if you dont tell them before that.

My Car insurance went up £20 (Thanks Direct Line)
My Wifes insurance went up £20 (Thanks Direct Line)as Im a named driver.
My Motorcycle insurance didnt change

I cant wait till Mr Policeman needs any assistance from me..... Seems like theres more money in catching people who speed than of other minor crimes like burglary, drugs, rape etc....

No bitterness there of course.

PS my shed was broken into last week....

Muppets... and I dont mean the burglars.

Oh, and whilst I think of it... its not a 'Speeding Ticket', its a 'High Speed award Certificate' .

Don't get me started on speeding tickets, they're not my friend.
