Whats the longest period you have not driven your MINI?

I guess this probably only makes sense to people who have 2 cars.

But excluding holidays/accidents/warranty work whats the longest period you have not driven your MINI for?

I've gone 6 days which I consider a lot but what a feeling to get back in on the 7th day!

Three weeks on a business trip. Wishing all the time that I had driven instead of flown.

21 days while it was in the shop to track down intermittent oil light problem. Actually I got it back for one day during the 21 days when 'problem couldn't be replicated'. Problem replicated just fine for me, 25 hours after I went to get it back.
Turned out to be sensor wire getting frayed on a heat shield.

Dealership cut me a check for my monthly car payment after I made a BIG stink with MINIUSA.

Chili Red / Black Roof Cooper "S", delivered Aug 5, 2002.

The longest I have left my car is 1 month. This was in the winter when I had a company car and I was working away a lot. Great to get back in it though

5 weeks. Less than a week after getting my MINI delivered I broke my arm so had to walk past her her on the way to to the station for 5 weeks
When I have been capable of driving, 2 or 3 days is the longest.

It's not how fast you go that matters BUT how you go fast.

4 Days m8 and believe me it was hard cause I was trying to get it run in b4 the DNPR. And now the miles are rolling and i'm .
Just last night i had to park CoopRaNite at the station cause J4GS had taken the metro keys with her in the morning and all day at work i was worried as hell that some plum will ding the doors or it would get broken into but got to the station at 1.00am and baby was still there WAAAAYYYYY in the distant.
Started her up and .

I think the more u drive and enjoy the car the more you can't keep away.

Its not just Coops that I miss I miss driving period and when ever i return from hols the first thing I do is go for a drive but sure with Coop its gonna be... return and drive with a BIG

Ten days when I went skiing in March this year. Came home, drove to Minispares and bought some chrome bits. Then chipped my windscreen from a stone thrown up from the back of a truck on the way home - doh!?!

A bit over 5 months. Wrecked the 02 MCS had to wait for the 03 to arrive. Then made up some for it by going to helix to get the pulley exchange and then going to NC to run the Dragon.

8 days, while waiting for a replacement gearbox and new suspension to be fitted.

The dealer gave me a new 318i for the 8 days but it did not compensate for not having the MINI.

That was 20,000 kilometres ago and since then not a day has passed without a drive.

5 days flying to see my niece graduate from the US Air Force Academy.
Actually, although it's very painful, the time away is always nice because of the reunion after.
I still fondly recall my trips back home while living in Los Angeles when I'd come back to jump into my Fiat X1/9 and speed home watching the lights of LA spread out before me.
Getting back into a nice car reminds you how good life can be if you make the right choices...

About 2 months, I ruptured my spleen and my MINI was in an accident, what a deadly combo.

Enjoy the trip vonny, the rain should have stopped by the time you get back to Perth and if you need someone to look after that beautiful silver MCS for 8 weeks, let me know.
