Depending on your budget, try for Cheltenham if you can. I last rented in Cheltenham just over a year ago and was paying £525pcm for a small 2 bed terrace. I own a houes in Gloucester now but would go back to Cheltenham in a shot if I could afford it!

I grew up in Gloucestershire and can second the motion to live in Cheltenham. Gloucester is frankly a **** hole. Cheltenham on the other hand is a very pleasant little city. I wouldn't live in Cheltenham but I would certainly live in Cheltenham if given the opportunity!

There are some rough areas in Cheltenham as well Harry and if Ginger is looking for accomodation that provides value for money the outskirts of Gloucester are a better bet.
Cheltenham is only a short run from Gloucester anyway.
