Interior Fuse Box Diagram (fuse to tap off of)

I am looking for a fuse to tap off (2003 Cooper S) of for my Valentine 1 Radar Detector and am trying to find the best fuse to tap off of (going to use an add-a-circuit device). Does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't have the heated windshield or PDC. The pictures on the back of the fuse box cover are not the easiest to understand, and some simply lead you to a manual (doesn't have any info on the specific fuses).

Can I simply tap into one of the empty ones? I would also prefer that is switched with the ignition power.

I am also not sure how to test for the "hot" side of the fuse. Do I simply use a test light.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
DJ
