Unhappy HK stereo - fuzzy bass speakers? (broken?)

hey, i've had my mini with the harmon kardon system for two full weeks now (brand new) - and i am noticing that the lower speakers (on the doors) sound very fuzzy, almost blown, when i turn up the volume (not terrbily loud at all, actually)

it this normal>? it's annoying and i am wondering if they can be fixed (under warranty of course).

help...

Heartbeat i feel your pain

Mine do that too. i was actually going to post it tonight to see what people thought, so i take it that its a common prob.

Same lowerer front door speakers, same buzzy almost blown sound at mid to high volumes.

sucks, any one know if this is normal? or can we get this prob fixed??

thanks

...my wife had the rear right speaker replaced, due to the same "fuzzy bass" problem. Now sounds great again!

...oops, and I forgot to say that she has the HK system, not the OEM.

Sorry about that.

Question

So will the speakers sound "fuzzy" when they are new, or just after you have had them up loud a couple of times?

Mine have run at full volume for 3 months and I dont have the "fuzzy" sound you describe. You probably just got a bump speaker out of the pile. Is it both speakers or just one side or the other that is doing it.
