I'm a little suprised this thread is still going after more than a year... hibernated a while though.

Personally, I dont see any car or other similar 'object' as being 'gay' or 'straight'.... but it's interesting the twists and turns this little thread has taken.

And it's remained a lot more civil than the first thread which had to be pulled as it became a bit of a shouting match!

I almost stopped reading this thread many times, but for some reason continued. This thread proves what Wynns professor was saying. Diversity! People differ in their opinions, their behaviors, their looks.....etc. I believe everyone should be treated the same, but should embrace the differences.

Well, for the record...the MINI didn't make the TOP 10 Gayest Cars according to Gay.com! But I still beg to differ...it's at least bisexual!!

Why does a car have to reflect what goes on in someones bedroom?

The MINI crosses all sexual, racial, urban, rural and political lines. Everywhere I go, people like it for one reason or another. Whether it is a gay guy working at a cool little boutique in the hip part of town, or a big redneck in a Ford "Bigfoot Special" F250 at the feed store in rural North Carolina; they give the same compliments and the same stares.

I was driving our MOC on tick tock, (if i was in any way bothered what people thought i'd say it was my wifes!) I think that the convertible defo has more of a ladieee- and pos 'gay' image attached to it but who cares - i love it! I happily drove it around the next day, on my own with the roof down still complete with tinsel flying from aerial and roll hoops! (cheers Jon!) just call me 'metrosexual' - whatever that means!
