Just demoed the new 3.0l Z4.
Jesus, what a car, what a noise from the rear when you floor it. Unbelievable.
If you can, book a demo at your dealer and enjoy.
Only problem is now, saving the pennies for one!!
If only my cooper made a noise like that and moved like that.
I know its a car twice the price and it makes the Mini feel like a toy car, but I`m happy with my cooper, although the Z4 got as many looks.
If you think its another Z3 forget it, this is a real sports car.
Well done BMW..
Dark Silver/Black MCS (Carlisle) - Now Stopped Drooling..............Now sitting in Lloyds MINI very cherished dept!!
I was torn between a Z4 or another MCS, and while the 3.0 Z4 was ok and definately a lot better than the Z3 thought it was a little overpriced...so have saved the difference and gone for another MINI
On my way to the last Dyno day while on the M25 I had a little accelerative match with a 3.0 Z4. He couldn't pull away from me, I was at full chat so I'm guessing he was too...
Can I just check,You lot actually think Chris Bangle has done a good job on the styling on this car??
All I can say is please god dont let him near the next mini.
If the new 5,6,7 series are anything to go by!
And has anyone seen the rear end of the Z4??
lets be honest ,only women would bye this car like they did the Z3 because they dont care how the car is only that its a BMW and therefore must be ok.
Porsche Boxster anyone??
I have driven the Z4 3.0 straight after driving a MCS Works. The Z4 specced as it was would cost £34,600, the MCS Works £19,800. The Works (and of course the HArtge etc?) car was far more rewarding to drive! Add to the fact there will be far more Z4 3.0s on the road than MCS Works - - simply the Z4 for me didn't cut it! I have also had the opportunity to drive the E30 M3 LHD with 215bhp (WOW!) - and nowadays you can pick one up for £8,995 Z4 - Personally I wouldn't go there! PS the Boxster is still the leading roadster!
Sukhjit- MINI NOW GONE - did have a 2002 MCS - Dark Silver / Black with Chili pack
