Fairly happy, but the ride's bloody hard, I'm only getting 21mpg and the upholstery gives me static shocks. Great looks though. I'm gonna get the Works upgrade soon....

Woa doggies! I didn't mean to ruffle feathers of those who truly have had problems with their Minis. I was refering to the ones that buy a car and then complain about obvious stuff they should have been aware of before they bought it. Cup holders too small, ride too ruff. The boot too small. Boot? Where did that come from? I'm spending too much time on this forum. I'm starting to talk like you Brits. Anyway, if it's a real problem, so be it. ***** all you want and I'm with you. But don't buy a Mini and then complain that there's too much plastic or that the Run Flats are to stiff. The two things I hated most about the Ford Escort I had before the Mini was cup holders that couldn't hold anymore than a soda can and the ingnition switch stuck under the column were you can see it with out leaning around the steering wheel. But when I decided I wanted a Mini and went for the test drive, the positives far out weighed the negatives. If I've offended anyone, I appologize.

I'm with you on that then, rlvette. I LIKE the hard ride. I have two other cars for when I want a cushier ride. And I WANTED a small car, so, so what if the trunk area is small? I have a van and an SUV for those needs. And yes it'd be nice if the cupholders were a little more useful, but I can work around them. My main problem is I can't seem to keep the car in MY OWN garage enough - it's always at the dealer's.
