Offline | Excluding mini's, the most fun car you've driven? Loved Northandy thread on worst new car. Vectra (previous models) take some beating! But excluding minis, whats the most fun car you've had. Me - a 1973 Renault 4 TL 850cc, probably about 25bhp 4 speed dash mounted (with first left and towards you!) no heater windscreen wipers that got tired and stopped working bench front seat max speed - i ONCE GOT IT UP TO 60. But supremely practical, fast, wonderful handling, economincal - it was my first car and remains without doubt the most fun - not the best, just the most fun. HO/Black MCC Born 29th June 2004 - first in the north east! Blue Mini City E - "ratpack" - born 1984 bit scruffy, bit rusty, bit smelly but huge fun. |

| MINI2 Regular | Ford Capri 3.0! Ok Ok, its really naff but it was so much fun. Stupidly quick in a straight line and impossible to get round any sort of bend at any sort of speed. Go into a bend carrying too much speed and the chassis couldn't cope and you'd spin off. Put your foot down too early coming out of a bend and you'd light up the rear tyres and spin off (chassis was too soggy to catch power oversteer easily). However, when you got the power oversteer just right then it was fabulous. Not the best car I've ever driven (in fact, one of the worst) but definately one of the most fun ![]() DS/B MCS, Chilli pack, DSC, MFSW, Trip Computer, CD |

| MINI2 Regular | Well if it makes you feel any better I've also driven a 2.8 and it was by far a superior car to the 3.0. Its just that the 3.0 was more of an old style 'muscle car' and hence more fun/scary (delete as applicable) ![]() DS/B MCS, Chilli pack, DSC, MFSW, Trip Computer, CD |

Offline | Series 2 Peugeot 106 Rallye. Very light weight and chuckable. Did get noisy though, as it didn't even have any sound deadening. Fantastic car, if only build quality was better! |

Offline | Other than my last car a 1990 Mini Cooper S, it would have to be a Smart Crossblade (with no windows, windscreen or doors!) which I drove in all the snow and cold weather earlier this year! G ![]() |
