Offline | Actually, on miniusa.com it seems to work like this: Standard - two-spoke, no charge. Optional - three-spoke, non-multi-func, $250 Optional - two-spoke, multi-func, $350 Optional - three-spoke, multi-func, $350 So the three-spoke is a $250 option unless you go multi-func, then it becomes a free option. - Mark |

Offline | Did I read here - or somewhere - that the auto a/c was being "enhanced"? Gary (tech at MINI Peabody) was telling me today that it seems that new MINIs do not blast cold air when you ask for heat - are they now smart enough to wait until the engine heats up? That was one of the main reasons I did not keep the auto a/c option when I upgraded to my MCS. |

Offline | We "optioned" the standard AC by not ordering the package that would have been less money. Our family is happy with that choice each cold morning. We would do it again. Offline | Auto AC Yes, we were told when we picked up our Mini in October that the 2004 Auto AC would not vent cold air if you had it set for heat and none was available. They even updated the "Top 10 oddities about your Mini" card to include this and another (forget what) so now it's the top 12. crazydave 2004 Pure Silver/Black Cooper Enjoying the Souther California SunCVT Sport Premium (w/ Sport Steering Wheel) Black Leatherette/Anthracite |

Offline | I'll close this thread as it really relates to the current model (2004 M/Y). Just to avoid confusion. For discussions of the Convertible, use the Convertible forum, for 2005 M/Y see the future variants forum. ![]() Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house...
