This is a poll for owners with white wheels: how often do they have to be cleaned to keep them looking good?

Thats a bit of a silly poll really...unscientific at least unless you take people who live in the same place and do the same mileage!

I have white wheels, I live in Scotland, its the middle of winter, the roads are black and slimy with grit and salt, I do 2000 miles a month and if I drive to the end of the road the entire CAR needs washing - nothing to do with the fact that the car has white wheels...

Agreed - but it was the best I could think of to get an idea of how much effort it takes to keep white wheels clean. I had thought of asking how many miles you can go between cleans but then city driving and highway driving would make a difference because it is really brake use that does the most to make the wheels dirty. I hope anyone who has unusual circumstances will add a reply to avoid skewing the results too much.
