Offline | I had the felling recently that my MINI was not getting has much attention as last year because people are starting to see some more often and now they know what it is!! But yesterday I went to the grocery store with my girlfriend, as usual I parked as far away as possible to make sure the car is visible (for safety reasons) and avoid adding some doors on my car. The surprise was when we got back to the car, somebody had placed flowers under my front wiper blade! We looked around, nobody.. I guess somebody fell in love with my car!!! Anybody had a similar experience? ![]() |

Offline | Funny you should mention that. I parked in a mall parking lot last weekend in a nice out-of-the way spot. When I returned to my car, under the wiper blade was a little flat piece of concrete. Perhaps the person that left it ran out of flowers. It was very strange. There was no damage to the car, just this little slab of cement under my wiper blade. In a way, I'm anxious for the day when MINIs are more common just so my car will stop attracting so much attention. |

| MINI2 Regular | That's great! I can't believe you got flowers from some random person! Ya know that is usually my trademark thing, I'll leave a rose uder the wiper of a girl I dating's car. But don't worry, it wasn't me. Keith 2004 DS/B MCS - Premium Package - Front Fog Lamps - Alloy Patina Dash - Alarm |

Offline | Of all places, I went to pick my car up from the dealers, it was waiting for me outside the shop. There was a bird with its foot stuck in the rear wiper, madly squirming to get out. After figuring out that it was really stuck. (Logical to assume it was just sitting there) it calmed down enough for me to pull the wiper out, and then flew off. I don't really think it was put there though, so I guess that's not exactly the same. Magic 8-ball was correct. All be in awe of Magic 8 ball. |

Offline | Similar thing happened to me, but with a horses head. You thought you were puzzled. (Before I get told off for the sick joke, lets say it was a fluffy toy horses head). ![]() Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |

Offline | Aaah, clear as crystal now. I knew I shouldn't have run over the pizza's the delivery boy just put down while he was getting the keys to his moped. Seemed funny at the time. (Before anyone gets upset by that silly comment, I love pizza, and would never do that. Sorry for the stereotype too. And for possibly seeming patronising with these apologies.... aah stuff it). ![]() Our trials and tribulations living in a "bleeding edge" eco house... Oxley Woods Living |
