Just stumbled across this pic in another thread (thanks to the owner of the pic

) - it's a new ONE with Anthracite interior - and the tachometer is indeed in Anthracite as well. Is this the same now with all new Anthracite interiors? If so, they've finally done it

Just got my MCS yesterday with anthracite, but still has silver tach. Thought it would look out of place, but looks good with other silver bits on steering wheel & stalks.

Beginning to think that the bright silver stalks and steering wheel trim might look even more out of place without the silver tach.

I see the tach with silver ring in the picture... it is the reflection the the anthracite color that make the tach look anthracite... they all come like that. No new color option on the tach... at least not yet. Some people want to do it, but they do it themselves. Good luck anyway.

Sure looks like it doesn't it? Think it looks better IMO. Not that it bothers me, I've got alloy patina, which still of course has the bright silver bits

Sure looks like it, but sorry to insist... I still think it is a light effect and not the real anthracite paint.

I'd like to complete our anthracite interior with an anthracite tach.

I asked our M.A., only to be told I need to go to a body shop, have them match-up the paint & DIY.

Good help, right?!

That's my Mum and Dad's MINI One you're referring to.....my Dad had the tachometer sprayed to match the rest of the interior by the dealership they bought the Mini from. They originally ordered Brilliant Silver interior but when the MINI was delivered, there had been a mistake and the interior was anthracite. Whilst they were happy with the anthracite, they didn't like the tach being brilliant silver so the dealer sprayed it for them.

Don't get confused with my Cooper - mine has the all brilliant silver interior.....we took photos of both cars side by side last weekend

Pauline, do you think you may be able to ask if there's a paint/product number for the anthracite paint your dealership used?

I know its a bother, so no worries if it's a no-go.

I'm not sure SugarBelly because it's actually my parents car and my Dad dealt with the dealership to get it done.

He posts here too under the name of Tumblewood. I'll get him to come on here and explain more to you.
