Will I get my One today? - MINI Cooper Forum

As detailed elsewhere, I was due to collect my Indi Blue One last Saturday but Mr/Miss Paperwork forgot to arrange for it to be put on the car transporter. Oops.

So then I was to collect it yesterday. And this time it did get all the way as far as my dealer. But - then - Mr Car Transporter Man kerbed one of the alloys as he drove it off the car transporter.

My dealer's going as mad as I am, and has been good at keeping me informed. In the meantime, the workshop have been (hopefully!) repairing or replacing the wheel overnight and I am due to collect my MINI this evening.

So, am I destined not to get this car? If anyone can think of anything else which might go wrong, do let me know, as I wouldn't want to be getting my hopes too high...

Fingers crossed for you ! Sounds like it should be only a minor delay with the wheel. I'll start the requests for pics and views on the car.....

i hope that they replace the wheel! repairs are wrong when its brand new!!

Nice choice, the Indi Blue One looks ace with the black grille. Which alloy's have you gone for?

Erm... they could drop something on the roof and make a nice round dent ....

I hope not, but that's what happened to mine on the day I was picking it up.

Yes yes yes!!!

Picked up yesterday evening and it is soooo good!!

Only put 50 miles or so on last night, but it was fab. I'll put more detailed impressions in the ONE forum when I have some more time (and have done some more miles) but initial impressions were all favourable. It is so much fun.

No discernable problems at this v early stage.

Saw it in the light for the first time this morning (wish I could drive to work...) and I have to say the indi blue really does look fantastic. No regrets at all.

Spec - by the way - was Salt, alarm, alloys, CD boost, ASC+T, chrome inserts, heated jets.

batemano - 15" 8 spoke alloys (very happy with them)
eliseboy - they did replace the wheel
