So I go into a bar..actually it was the local Mini Dealership. I'm ready to buy a (blue and white) but come with an order sheet for a (silver and black). Is it just me? Or do all of the colors start to seem cool when they are all lined up? Only 12 weeks to wait. Thanks for all of the info on the site! Mini_TD

I was sure I was ordering an Electric Blue or Pure Silver w/ white roof and no stripes, but when I saw a Dark Silver/Black roof w/ Black stripes at the dealer, I had to have it. I think they all look so good in person, that you'll order whatever you see!

I guess I got lucky. I went to either order a red/white roof S with Union Jack or put my name on the cancellation list, and came out one week later with an all black S. Very, very, lucky, and very, very happy!

I knew exactly which colors I could live with, which I absolutely loved. Elec blue, Indi blue, Chili Red - and I don't usually like red cars - all with white roofs and stripes. I could live with the BRG too. Ended up with Elec Blue. Yippee!

I worried over the color combo longer than I did the options! and now when I go to the dealership I see the row of MINIs and they all look fantastic!

I'm glad I have my order in or I might start back sliding and have to rethink the color again!!!

I went into the dealership with 8 different "Build your Own" print-outs from miniusa.com on order day. Ended up choosing PS/PS and I've never regretted my choice...

The first time we went to a dealer I saw a Pepper White with a black roof and I was hooked, no other color would do for me!

I chose my car pre-spec'd based on options, not colors, and then fell in love with it. I'm pretty sure I'll end up chosing the same color when I order my second one. Most people like many of the colors, but the big differences seem to be roof preference. I think they look best with white, but there's a total different look in black or with body color.

When we got our first MINI over a year ago, my wife and I were pretty much set on getting a Cooper CVT in Velvet Red with White Roof. When we got to the dealer, they had one (A demo) and while the car was very nice, the Velvet Red looked too dark and brownish for our tastes. Then they had another Cooper demonstrator, a Pepper White/Black roof and we loved it! My wife dislikes white cars but this one really made a lasting impression on her. We out our order and 7 weeks later we took delivery and no regrets since.

Now enter my '04 MCS. From the get go I was set on Chili Red/White roof as this is the "traditional" MINI color and one of the sharpest too. Then my wife suggested for me to look into Liquid Yellow with White roof and I sort of entertained the idea. But in the end I decided to go with CR/W as I did not see myself to happy still looking at a pale yellow car years down the road.

So our driveway come October will have a Pepper White/Black and a Chili Red/White parked side by side.

I also like Dark Silver, Pure Silver, Indy Blue and Electric Blue (I don't care for Black or "BRG" colors) but I do have a problem paying $400 extra for metallic paint, so it is solid colors for us only ($0 cost) (Pepper White and Chili Red).

I completely agree. As happy as I am with many colors, I have very strong feelings about the roof being white in contrast. For me personally that expresses the MINI look best.

I bet we could do a personality test based on whether you like the white, black or same-color roof.

Started off ordering Liquid Yellow, switched to British Racing Green, and then switched to Indi Blue, all with white roofs. I have NEVER had such a hard time choosing a color before. Don't even get me started about if the Electron Blue was an option for the Cooper :-)

You'd be going through what I went through! and am still going through even tho I went with EB. !

Indi Blue is an EXcellent choice. Especially with the stripes. Woo hoo!

Maybe you and I should trade cars every now and again !

i just changed my order from cosmos black to pure silver... probably change it again before it go's into the build stage!
