Well after a three month wait, my girl has made it to the West Coast of Canada !! I got her two days ago, immediately drove her to my local customizing shop, dropped a set of Tenzo wheels, 35% window tint and a retro ralley stripe and there she sits Lovin' every second of her and thought I would share her with you. All comments welcome.

So now I have to install the BFP carbon fiber hood scoop, and morror covers. I'll have to see what they look like, I kinda like her like she is right now....

That is one sharp car! I didn't think I liked black on the Mini but the way you configured yours with the stripes and all really works! Man I wish tinting wasn't such a big deal to cops out here in So Cal.

And Trinity is one of my favorite characters too.

Yeah Black was my only real choice and yes it will be a pain to keep clean but it's just another excuse to spend time with her

Time will tell whether the cops have an issue with me. I was told that 35% was legal here...

Wow, looks really sharp! I like the gray across the bottom of the doors. Nice touch. Congrats on the car and welcome to the forum. Awesome choice on rims as well. I love them!!

LOL ! yes you see one of my daughters peering through the glass. I can't get her out of the car ! I promised her when she gets her license I'll give her the MINI. So I have 5 1/2 years to have some fun with it

Of course I may change my mind by then.......

very, very cool. the retro rally stripe is perfect, looks great with those rims. keep the pictures coming. like you i think she looks pretty dang good right now, but the carbon stuff might add something.

gets me thinking about the rally stripe for myself (white on brg, then)... and hey, think you made the right colour choice - sure it's a bit of work to keep clean, but i've never regretted getting brg.

Regarding where I got the stripe from; I designed them and they were cut right at the customizing shop I went to: SHC Autographix here in Victoria. They did their best to match the vinyl with the graphite whee center color.

If I had purchased a BRG MINI I probably would have gone with the retro stripes in white and picked a different wheel style, probably would have put big white number circles on the sides (with no number) and called it Jackie after my favorite driver of all time: Jackie Stewart
