i built myself a camera mount for my track days. i couldn't find one on the web i liked. after looking at a lot of other ones i decided to make my own. i put a lot of time into the design of this. it's solid aluminium and it goes between the back two headrest. this provides the most stability available. i have videos to show but, not sure how to put a file that big on the net. any help would be great. i'd be happy to build someone else a mount for a mini. my only question is the price i might charge. the parts are about 20 bucks for just the aluminium, then another 30 for the actual camera mount. my work is worth something. i'll start at 100.00 if anyone wants one, drop me a line. until i can reach the economy of scales i'll have to keep the price here.

Could you take a pic of the mount with and without the camera attached?

I'm trying to find a dealer to by a mini from and I'm going to autocross it when I get it. I'd love a way to film the occasion..

i've posted a few pictures of my car camera mount. i've got some in car video i'd like to share but, i don't know where i can put such a large file. help anyone? they are about 250MB.

Great job on the camera mount. I suppose that's your car in the photo gallery? Very cool. I'm waiting for a phone call from one of several dealers so I can officially order my mini. Long Beach mini is where I think I'll end up ordering. Indi blue, premium, sports package, white rims.
