![]() Hacked the IBUS | Reading Auto express today and as confirmed on here the Spec change will start from next month, they have listed the changes as being: Follow me home lights Digital Speedo on the rev counter Automatic Security door re-lock Smart Windscreen Wipers And cars fitted with leather will come with a perforated hide steering wheel. Now just few questions, Hasn't all MINI's got follow me home lights? i.e stay on for set amount of time after you take key out of ignition? Automatic Security door re-lock, what you mean lock the doors again after doing over 9mph? Smart Windscreen Wipers, well thats on the visbilty pack, will this be a standard feature now? And whats a perforated Hide steering wheel? I think the Digital Speedo will be good, think there is a pic on here somewhere isn't there? |

Offline | The follow me home lights have been standard for a while, although MINI are touting it as a new feature, it's not. The re-lock means if you manually open the doors, they then relock after 2 minutes for increased security in case you've forgotten to lock them. The smart wipers aren't rain-sensing wipers - it just means (I think) they stop/slow down when idle and don't carry on at full speed when they don't need to at the lights etc. I think! And, the perforated steering wheel is the one standard on the cooper s - perforated leather with the thumbgrips in it. Not sure what "hide" means though! ![]() ![]() |
