Ok - it's nearly time to order my next one - does anyone know accurately what the waiting time for a new Cooper is at the moment?

It varies all over the county...

I ordered mine on the 31st July and have a delivery date of the 15th October.

That's almost 11 weeks :'(

I figured about 3 months was still the norm - means I'll be ordering in a couple of weeks time! Gulp!

I asked about the Current Waiting list while at the Dealers on Monday.
Just 6-8 weeks at Shrewsbury !

6-8 weeks? Blimey. Got to juggle my order date so I give myself enough time to sell my One (which I can't do until 4th Nov) and save enough to pay for the Cooper which I'd like to arrive beginning of Dec. Seems ages away now but time will fly I'm sure

BTW Restyle - had fun with you chasing me on the last leg of the Costwolds run! What a blast!

I have been told "order now for an MCS in Jan 04", so 4.5 months?

Phone up Douglas Park Mini Hamilton, they may have some brand new ones (unregistered) in stock that may suit. When I was there I had the choice of ordering a newey or taking from stock, they had about 5 coopers all with different spec. I wanted air con and alarm in the one package, none of the 5 in stock met my needs. But it is worth a try.

I'll be ordering through my Dad again (BMW employee) so I'll be bypassing the dealer bit. Cheers for the suggestions though
