wasnt there a mini cooler?

the MC 02's had a DC power port in the back, and I vaguely remember a mini cooper cooler, like an ice chest, but basically a mini-fridge that they sold, any one know of where i can find that?

It's in the 2003 parts and accessories catalog. $180 I believe. MiniCooperParts.com is clearing one out for $150. They stopped selling MINI parts so its on sale.

$180.00 is a lot of money to drain a battery...this was $12.00 and uses nature's coolant...ICE!

I bought one from Sam's Club that holds a LOT more than a six pack for $65. I then wired my own rear power outlet only to find that the cooler was too big for the cargo area. D'oh!

Talking Bud Cool Box

Who needs to pay the prices BMW/MINI charge when you can get a bargain like this. It was my mum that told me about this cool box from Makro. £29.99 + vat. It comes with a cooling refrigerated lid that you plug into the boot and also a lid that is lighter so you can carry it about.
Took it to the test match at trent bridge last week and I managed to cram in:-
12 cans of Stella (large ones)
1 bottle of wine
Sarnies, crisps, Jaffa cakes and a few other bits and pieces.
Great VFM
