Hi Beester,

Try to fix that, so I can look at your MC to recognize you when I meet you on belgium roads.

I like the stripes. Might ask the dealer to put some on mine when it arrives (two weeks to wait!). Have you got any idea how much they'll charge me? Did you choose the stripes as manufacture option or have let the dealer put them on?

Oli... I ordered the stripes as a manufacturing option... (80 euros), but I talked to my dealer and it's no prob to have it dealer-fitted. So I hope you'll get some stripes to on your baby!!

I've seen one other velvet red cooper...on the E34 but it had the black roof (looked cool too mind you).

Oh yeah when you get it and see a classic cooper just wave... I've met 11 classic mini's and they all waved back... but only one (new) MINI did

OK, everything is all right now.

I'm too happy because my dealer just phoned to tell me that my MC was there. Delivery date written on order is week 37. And it's there, nearly one month before! Will have to wait for the license plate and insurance now before I can drive it. Very good news :-)

Congrats oli!! That's very good news!!!

Hehehehe I know the feeling, I had a week 36 delivery date and mine was at the dealers in week 31, picked it up on the 12th of august.

Now I warn you, those last few days will be very tough!! I hope you get your insurance and plates sorted realy quickly...

beautiful motor, congrats! just the way i like it - only seen velvet reds with silver wheels before, if i read the pictures right yours are white, nice.

from the last picture, looks like they fitted your steering wheel upside down, might want to have that looked at!

Yep the rims are white... they look splendid when clean... but you need to clean them every other day. You can already see alot of brakedust on the front ones and I cleaned them the day before taking pics.

Hehehehe I'll turn the wheel next time... didn't notice it

Mine has this interior too. Quality? Feel? Look?

The black profile leather is good. It's more solid then I thought. Nice quality, nice stitching, the profile bits aren't to obvious, just sober.

The color is darker then in the pics... not realy black but very dark grey.

All in all I'm very pleased with the leather. One problem with my cooper was, the leather on the backseats is a bit loose... but that's my only bad remark.

I'm very pleased!

I've seen my Cooper at the dealer. I'm pleased too with the leather. Have to say that the leather on the backseats is also a bit loose, but not really a problem. Front sport seats are perfect.

Congrats!!! This week must go very slowly! But trust me it is worth it!

My car is just under 2 weeks old and I'm now at 2800 km

And yes I had to work, no holliday, so no all day driving except during weekends
