Thanks for all the input guys, but after looking at some pictures of all different kinds of BRG roof configurations I'm going to stick with what I originally ordered (black top). Seeing wwwebber's car pretty much made my decision up as mine will look exactly the same as his.

I REALLY like the white roof, I have only got a LY mini One though for insurance purposes, it is my first car after all!!!

I was wondering, if it is worth it getting the roof painted white, I know someone that could do it for me at a reasonable price, but what would the quality be like??? is it actually possible to have the quality of an equal standard to a factory paint-job?

definately white IMO i love mine to bits although i have now put a flag ontop.

I put a lot of thought into the roof color on my BRG MINI, and went with the black roof. I think you get a great classy looking little car with the combo - light aftermarket tints helped too. If the BRG was true racing green, then I would have gone with the more classic look. Seems as if you can't really go wrong with any color combo though, you will always have a MINI underneath

BRG/BRG with sunroof here, but most people think it's black until they get close to it.

Holy crap! What an opinionated lot.

I have a liquid yellow/black JCW S because I like the bumble bee thing. I don't know why folks keep saying white is cooler in the summer. I understand the logic but I wonder if anyon has done any studies. My car was just fine this summer.

Regarding the BRG roof, I'd go with either white or BRG but that is just me.

I've decided both BRG/B and BRG/W look good in different ways.
Don't recall who it is, but someone painted his lower trim gloss black and it's beautiful.
But a white roof and white wheels really add punch to the car and I think the dark colors lessen the tri-color effect.
Believe the old MINI2 addage that "any MINI looks good".

White roof all the way and either:

1) Ditch the Sun Roof and get Air Con/Climate

2) Get a vinyl cover that makes it white from someone like Idle Gear (MINI2 sponser)

I got BRG/B, my car just hit U.S. shores, I should have it a month from now (don't ask, lets just say I got in on a group-buy for my car and I'm waiting for everyone else's to hit U.S. shores)........anyway, I'm pretty content with what I got, should look real nice when it's in my garage.

I agree with the MATCHING colors. A freind has one, and it's great looking. If not matching then the WHITE top is the only really sharp look to get. The Black tends to visually tone down the BRG.
