Offline | Hi restyle - Minispares do one, cost £240 + vat... http://new.minispares.com/NewMiniSea...s&ShowIcons=No I think you should do the grill too - although I think you've already said you were going to soon..... My alternative to getting the grill would be to get the all black mesh grill from the aero pack, and then getting it chromed - I think this would look awsome and would be one of a kind.... Get you thinking? |

| Remember | Real???? Wow, interesting idea for a conversion, wonder if any has been brave enough to do it? Well if you do find it, let me know, you never know might be able to get someone to do it by posting it enough times, hahahaha. The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

| Damned | Yes you`ve done a good job there Max, can you point me in the right direction here for Top -Grill fitting instructions, as I dont want to balls it up. .... & I`m sure it`ll be enhanced by the Chrome scoop ![]() I recall emailing Minispares about offering a Chrome Scoop last year, but they didnt do one at the time, ... & didnt update me about New Products Apparently ![]() Ive been asked to keep quiet about this as mine was sort of a Prototype Experiment for this Process & as such, any cost I might have paid would be an Unrealistic Figure for Subsequent Work. I`m sure that when the People Concerned are ready & geared up to do further work, it will be announced here First. ![]() In da Wud Last edited by Restyle : Aug 28th, 2003 at 08:09 AM. |

Offline | It is a coating for steel that prevents the steel from rusting. You get it often on bolts and hinges etc. also used to be used a lot for car 'fasteners' (nuts&bolts) - but as I said, it's a golden yellow colour - sorry for being technical ![]() David 2003 Mini Cooper S - DS/B |
