The long, long wait

I ordered a 2004 MCS in June and it is set to be built on the 2nd week of sept. However, the dealer has told me by late October/early November.

Does it really take that long for it to get built and shipped?

Mine's scheduled for Sep. 26th build and my dealer said not to expect it before Oct. 15th. So it sounds about right to me.

4-8 weeks after its built you'll see your MINI. 4 weeks east coast. 8 weeks west coast. Interior of the country expect somewhere around 6 weeks. Delays can and do happen and can add a week or even a month. The most frustrating part I found was when it made it to VPC. Thats where delays happen most often (if they do).
