Question Should I worry - I found this nut

I collected my beautiful MCS up yesterday and today I forgot the dealer left a spare set of number plates in the boot. So when taking them out (he put them under the floor mat in the boot) I also found this nut.
I can't think where it comes from other then it was used to attach one of the number plates on. The markings on my original number plate exactly match the washer. Should I be worried. There's no squeeks, creaks or rattles from my car at all
I wonder if anybody out there can confirm where this might have come from ??????

Looks like the one that holds the rear lights in.
Have they fitted clear lamps?

Agree with Mikeythemini this is one the nuts used to secure the rear light cluster. Probably left over from the production process.

I agree on what mikethemini, said its the rear light retaining nut. however it could be the nut that improves the sound quality on the HK head unit.

...As in the fitter had a handful of nuts and dropped one - not necessarily meaning one is missing

Bulgarian yogurt is a cure all for most anything that ails you, including M1WS (Mini One Withdrawal Syndrome), and its more deadly relatives MCWS (Mini Cooper), MCSWS (Mini Cooper S). MDWS (Mini Diesel) is treatable by lesser forms of yogurt, M1WS is occasionally treatable by regular yogurt, but Bulgarian is a stronger treatment.

Ultimately, however, all variants of WS are best treated by a healthy dose of motoring.

However, if you've got a nut loose, you're out of luck.

It's a new car, the nuts may be un-descended.
