I'm just heading off to Oxford now, but without my +1. I hope this is enough time for a last minute replacement, if not, I am sorry for taking away someone's place

A big thank you to everyone who came along, I hope you enjoyed the show and hospitality!

Sorry I didn't get chance to say "Hello" to too many people, we were running a bit late and didn't show up until about 20 past.

Alfie came along (for those I missed), he slept through all but the last 15 minutes or so (and he didn't cry!), so he couldn't comment on the movie, but how many babies can honestly say they've had their nappies changed in the room their mummy and daddy's car was made!?

Top show everyone, thank you!

Paul

Thanks Paul & Goonery

It was the ideal location to watch the new Italian Job movie.
Also thanks to the friendly hospitality staff at the factory.

I want a Red S with R90's and Bodykit

Hi Paul

We met briefly in the car park after the event and did not properly get the chance to say how much my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed the film.

A more apt title might be the American Job but that should not put people off going to see a very entertaining film.

As for today, watching the film at Cowley with 26 (i think?) MINI'S parked at the front facing the screen and the friendliness and hospitality shown by the employees at MINI. Well? It was a little emotional.

Many Thanks
Crunchie

Thanks a lot for organising this you guys, had a good day, the film was better than I thought it was going to be so thats a great result!

Even went for a little impromptu walk about on the factory floor, and no one threw us out!! Saw a DS/W S with 16" 'star' alloys on with a note on the back saying "major mechanical rework required" - hope no one out there is waitng a DS/W S... - it might be a bit late!!!

No one wanted to accept our £2 each, although little Ellie ate her own weight in popcorn, so we will be making a seperate donation to the Wizzkids charity on Thursday when we do it all again....

Thanks again
Tony, Sonia & Ellie

Thanks for the tickets!

Did anyone else see the "new" rear internal door cards?

I have a cunning plan!

Thanks for the tickets Paul.

That has to one of the top events this year ......I mean to see the Italion Job before its released in the UK is one thing, but to see at the MINI factory was brilliant and very unique.

Sorry we did'nt get a chance to chat.

Thumbs up

Enjoyed last night.

Thought the film was good.

Big thanks to Paul, Goonery and MINI.

Sorry I didn't stay to chat after in the car park but I had to get back!

Even got to meet Alfie, although he was fast asleep! (Do you always have that effect on people Paul?!)

Shame we couldn't get a photo of the cinema with the 26 MINI's on the front row!! That would have been good!

Going through it all again this Thursday at the dealer preview at the local UGC.

Thanks for a great event. We thoroughly enjoyed the film, and the setting. Sorry we had to rush off at the end, we had a 2hr run home.

Looks like I'll be saving for the R90s...and the aero kit...and........

Didn't the cars sound great - dunno what that Spanner, or Wrench or whatever his name was "did", but he "made" them sound great!

Personally, I thought the splashing through the storm drain and into the water was a little far fetched - what with my water ingestion experience and all.

Thanks again - I'm now looking forward to the DVD extras (released in the US on the 7th Oct if anyone's interested including:

'The Mighty Minis Of The Italian Job' featurette
'The Real Stunts Of The Italian Job' featurette

See Play.com .

Paul & Goonery,

Thanks for the tickets to to what has to be the event of the year! What an atmosphere to watch the film in the factory. Glad them two blokes got booted out for taking photos!
Thought it was funny when the '3 car convoy' from MK were told by a bloke on the A34/M40 roundabout in his MG that we looked like the italian job. How shocked he was when we told him that we were going to watch it at the factory!

Thanks again, Matt
